Slated for festival release in the Fall of 2016, American Shift is a film about a journey by bike across the United States. Every steep climb, flat tire, and chance encounter is recounted in this unique documentary. Connecting it all are the larger ideas of urbanism in the United States, and the unexpected power of vulnerability. Every shot was carefully captured along the way, with the film currently in the final stages of its editing process.
Recently, a short film preview of American Shift was nominated for best Cinematography, and jury selection, out of thousands of films across the country at Terminus Film Festival in Atlanta. The film also won best documentary during its screening at Campus Movie Fest in North Carolina.
